Honey & Lemon Chicken Breasts with Asparagus

Family tested (many times lol) and all Love this! The kids will even happily eat the asparagus with this recipe.


    4 chicken breast

    1 lbs. asparagus

    1/2 tsp. garlic

    2 tbsp. honey, raw

    1 tsp. lemon zest

    1 tbsp. coconut oil


Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat until nice and hot. Add chicken breasts, cook about 5 minutes. Turn chicken over and add asparagus and garlic. Cook 1 minute or so, stirring occasionally. Add honey. Increase heat to medium-high; cover and cook 3-4 minutes or until chicken is fork tender and juices run Clear, and asparagus is crisp-tender. Once done, stir in lemon peel.

Please make sure to cook your chicken so no rawness is left...but don't let it get dry either Sometimes I'll add a little bit of chicken broth if it needs it.

My family loves this. Somewhere I have a honey/mustard sauce recipe and the kids will put a bit of that as extra (cuz they could almost Drink honey/mustard sauce lol)
