came across this great recipe for homemade mayonnaise and thought I would share it with you
1 whole egg
2 egg yolk
1 tbsp. mustard
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. sea salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/2 c. coconut oil
1/2 c. extra virgin olive oil
Place the whole egg, 2 egg yolks, mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper into a food processor or blender. Blend briefly for a few seconds. With the processor or blender running on low speed, start adding you oils very slowly. Start out with drops and then work up to about 1/16 inch stream. This will take a few minutes. Continue blending until all the oil is used up and there is no free standing oil.
Each tablespoon would be one fat serving.
