Homemade Chewy Granola Bars

Great quick on-the-go snack.

Ingredients

    2 tbsp. sesame seeds

    2 tbsp. sunflower seeds

    1/4 c. coconut flakes

    1/2 c. almond butter

    1/3 c. honey, raw

    1/4 c. coconut oil

    1 c. old-fashioned oats

    1/4 c. chocolate chips

    1/4 c. dried cranberries

Directions

In medium saucepan, melt almond butter, honey, and coconut oil. Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients (I kept the chocolate chips out until I had put the mixture in the pan and it had cooled some - otherwise they melt right into the bars - although, that isn't necessarily a bad thing). Stir well and spread in an 8x8" pan. Chill for 2 hours. Cut into six bars.

Note: You may want to double the recipe to fill out the pan better.
