These pancakes are a one of a kind. They taste delicious and they're really good for you. High in fiber and protein, these pancakes are perfectly sweet.
1/2 c. milk, raw or organic
1 1/2 c. old-fashioned oats
1 tsp. sea salt
4 dsh. cinnamon
2 tbsp. ground flax seeds
1/4 c. spelt flour
2 tsp. baking powder
3 tbsp. honey, raw
2 egg
3 tbsp. butter
Preheat griddle to 300°F.
Combine eggs, melted butter, milk, and honey in a small bowl.
Combine oats, salt, cinnamon, ground flax seeds, spelt flour, and baking powder in a separate medium bowl.
Add the wet mixture into the dry. Mix well.
Pour the batter onto griddle by 1/4 cups. Cook until bubbles begin to pop on the sides. Flip. Cook until sides are more dry. Serve.
Top with strawberries and raspberries, sliced banana, maple syrup, raw honey and/or butter. Serve with bacon (no nitrates or nitrites added) on the side. :)
