Delicious taco-esque dish! Incredibly easy to make and sure to please the whole family!
1 lbs. ground turkey
ground cumin to taste
chili powder to taste
2 c. fresh made salsa
4 oz. mild cheddar cheese
4 oz. avocado
sea salt to taste
2 sprouted whole grain tortilla
Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper. Break tortillas in half (so there are four pieces), and arrange on baking sheet. Lightly spread a little coconut oil on the tortilla pieces. Bake in oven until crisp, 5-10 minutes.
While the tortillas are baking, brown ground turkey in a skillet. Add cumin and chili powder to taste. (You do not need to use too much of the spices as the salsa already gives the dish a lot of flavor.) Stir in salsa, and cook with turkey until warm. Add cheese and stir until melted.
Spread 1/4 of the mixture on each piece of tortilla. Mash the avocado, and season with sea salt (or use guacamole). Spread on top of turkey on tortilla.
