A marinade for salmon and other fish.
4 oz. salmon
1 tbsp. honey, raw
1 tsp. tamari, organic
1 tsp. fresh ginger
1 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
1 tsp. mustard
1 tsp. fresh chives
1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. butter
Mix honey, tamari, ginger root, olive oil & mustard together and transfer to a plastic bag with the salmon fillet. Marinate for at least 30 minutes. Grill for 3 minutes on each side. In a saucepan, melt butter and mix in lemon juice and chives (or dill), pour over cooked salmon if desired. (Sometimes I melt the butter, lemon juice and dill and just add them to the plastic bag to marinade the salmon in ahead of time-it is equally good!)
