Ginger Apple Green Beans

These green beans taste like fall!

Ingredients

  • 4 c. green beans, fresh, organic
  • 1 med. apple, red, fresh, organic
  • 1 green onion, fresh, organic
  • 1/4 c. thyme, fresh, organic
  • 3 tbs. olive oil, extra virgin, unrefined and unfiltered, organic
  • 2 tbs. lemon juice, pure, organic
  • 1/4 tsp. sea salt, unrefined and pure
  • 1 tsp. honey, raw, unfiltered, organic
  • 1 tbs. ginger, ground, organic

Directions

Wash and trim green beans. Steam beans for about five minutes, until crisp tender. Drain.

Combine green beans, diced apple, finely chopped scallions, and thyme (stem removed) in a bowl. Toss with dressing (olive oil, lemon juice, sea salt, honey, and ginger) until well coated.
