I made the yellow cake recipe that is on this site and then created my own icing to go over the top of it! It shaped like a football because it was for the Super Bowl!


    1/3 c. cacao powder

    1/3 c. coconut oil

    1 tsp. vanilla extract

    1/3 c. maple syrup


Put all ingredients into a pan and melt it on stovetop on medium. Stir until it is melted and thoroughly mixed. Do not walk away as chocolate will burn. Remove from heat. Pour over the cake and spread until sides are covered. It will run over the sides like a glaze but then later it will set and you can wipe off excess to make it a clean look-I used my finger-LOL! Not sure how many carbs this whole recipe is.
