Skip the soda pop this summer and enjoy this refreshing beverage instead! Try making this with different fruits and herbs for a variety of flavors. The mixture I made was a HIT with my grandchildren. They are very anxious to try it again with different ingredients.
3 qt. water
1 c. strawberries
3 spg. fresh mint
1 spg. lemon balm
Fill a three quart pitcher with ice cold water, or a combination of water and ice cubes. Mix in the strawberries, mint and lemon balm. Place in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving to allow the flavors to infuse.
Try making this with several different fruit and herb combinations. Melons are particularly good!
