I keep these in the freezer and give the portion I want about five minutes to thaw when I want a treat. Otherwise I would eat the whole batch!
1/2 c. carob chips
1 c. old-fashioned oats
1 c. coconut flakes
1/2 c. almond butter
1/2 c. ground flax seeds
1/4 c. honey, raw
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Process all ingredients (except carob chips, if using them) in a food processor. Stir in carob chips. Roll out on a parchment paper to about 1/4-inch thick. Should make approx an 8x10 inch rectangle. Chill for 30 minutes, then cut in to 30 squares. Store in airtight container in fridge for one week or freezer for one month (If they last that long). 2 squares equals one serving.
**If the recipe appears to be a bit too crumbly then feel free to add a little more almond butter.
