A healthy take on a classic holiday tradition.
2 tbsp. honey, raw
3 tsp. nutmeg
1 egg yolk
2 c. milk, raw or organic
In a small bowl slightly mix egg yolk with a fork. Meanwhile, in a saucepan, bring the milk to a slight boil.
Once milk reaches boil, add a small amount of the milk to the bowl with the egg and stir so the milk and egg are completely combined and there are no lumps.
Return to pan. Bring to a rolling boil. Mix in honey and nutmeg, to taste. Pour into glass.
Tip: To cool egg nog, mix about 2 tablespoons of cold milk into drink.
