I think I heard the heavens open up and angels sing when I made this.
4 lbs. pork shoulder roast
1 tbsp. paprika
1 tbsp. garlic powder
1 tbsp. onion powder
2 tbsp. sea salt
1 tbsp. black pepper
1/2 sml. salsa
Mix together the spices to make a dry rub and rub over the pork roast.
Turn your grill on high and sear the roast on all sides... this gives the pork a smoky flavor.
Place the pork in a crockpot along with salsa, and cook for 6-10 hours, depending on crockpot temperature. Pork is done when it "falls apart."
A 4-pound roast should give you about 2 pounds of edible meat. Recipe counts are based on that.
