I love crab cakes and was thrilled to figure out how to make these.
1 tbsp. onion
1 dsh. sea salt
1/4 tsp. mustard
1 egg
1 slc. lemon
4 tsp. homemade mayonnaise
1 slc. sprouted whole grain bread
8 oz. crabmeat, lump, sustainably raised
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Toast a piece of sprouted grain bread, and put it in a blender to make bread crumbs
Mix all of the ingredients together, but don't over mix as you will want lumps of crab in the cakes.
Form mixture into 4 patties, arrange on baking sheet, and bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
Let cool for a few minutes, put on a plate, and garnish with lemon.
