Prep Time: 10 Minutes

Cook Time: 6 Hours

Servings: 4

Tender meatballs cooked in tomato sauce.

    1 lbs. ground turkey

    1 egg

    2 tbsp. almond flour

    2 tbsp. parmesan cheese

1 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil

    2 clove garlic

    1 tsp. dried oregano

    1 tsp. dried basil

    1/4 tsp. sea salt

    1/4 tsp. black pepper

    1 tsp. avocado oil

    28 oz. crushed tomatoes, canned

Combine ground turkey, egg, almond flour, Parmesan cheese, olive oil, minced garlic, and spices in a large bowl. Use hands to mix well. Form into meatballs.

Heat avocado oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add half of the meatballs to the pan, and lightly brown on each side for about 1 minute. Move meatballs from pan to crockpot. Repeat with remaining meatballs.

Once all meatballs have been seared and added to the crockpot, pour the crushed tomatoes over all of them in the crockpot. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.
