One of my favorite crock pot recipes!
8 chicken leg
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. chili powder
3 tbsp. butter
16 oz. canned whole tomatoes, peeled
1 lrg. onion
4 oz. white mushrooms
1 clove garlic
1 1/2 tsp. sea salt
Rinse the chicken legs and pat dry. Melt the butter in a skillet. Brown the chicken legs on all sides in the butter. Place the chicken in the slow cooker. Combine all the other ingredients together. Mix well. Pour over the chicken. Cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours.
The number of proteins per serving will depend on the amount of meat on each leg.. typically, a leg will have about 2 ounces of meat on it.
