A traditional French Canadian food we usually eat on bread in the morning. But you can enjoy it at any time of the day on your favorite Isabel-approved! Great idea for your Holiday breakfast! Can substitute chick broth with veggie - or whatever!

Ingredients

    1 tbsp. gelatin

    1/4 c. water

    1 med. onion

    1 celery stalk, fresh, organic

    1/4 tsp. cinnamon

    1/4 tsp. nutmeg

    1 dsh. ground cloves

sea salt & black pepper to taste

    1 lbs. ground pork

    1 c. chicken broth

Directions

  1. Sprinkle gelatin over water. Put aside.
  2. Cook meat, onion and celery for 5 minutes. Make sure to break the meat in small pieces as it cooks.
  3. Add other ingredients.
  4. Cover and simmer on low heat for 25 minutes.
  5. Add gelatin at the end of cooking time. Mix well.
  6. You can pour the mixture in a blender and blend until smooth, or leave as is (I prefer as is).
  7. Pour in small ceramic containers or a square baking dish.
  8. Put in the refrigerator for a few hours.
  9. Serve cold.
