Chili for Swimming

I make this for my 15 year son who is a swimmer and pack the food away. Perfect after school or practice snack. I freeze a cup a piece so I can have as a morning or afternoon snack.....This serves more than 8 if you do a cup at a time.

Ingredients

    15 oz. cooked chickpeas

    14 oz. canned kidney beans

    14 1/2 oz. canned black beans

    1 lbs. ground turkey

    1 c. chicken stock

    6 oz. tomato paste

    1 c. water

    2 tsp. garlic

    1 tsp. ground cumin

    2 tsp. chili powder

    1 med. onion

    2 c. frozen corn

Directions

Brown the ground turkey and salt/pepper to taste.

Once browned add ALL ingredients into the crockpot! I cook on low all day but could be on High if you want in 3 hours or so...

This is the ultimate protein/carb packer!
