A savory and healthy alternative to enjoy okra without the frying and corn meal.
sea salt & black pepper to taste
3 oz. shredded cheese
1 lbs. okra, baby, fresh, organic
2 tsp. extra virgin olive oil
1 tsp. garlic
1 tbsp. onion
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Take okra out of freezer, wash thoroughly, and cut off caps. Slice into 1/2 inch pieces and place in 2 quart glass baking dish. Coat well with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic, onion, sea salt, and pepper. Cover with lid and bake for 30 minutes. Take out of oven, sprinkle cheese on top and return to oven just long enough to melt cheese. DIG IN!
