This topping is super-quick and delicious! It can be used for pancakes and oatmeal. Top with walnuts for some extra protein.
1 banana
2 tsp. coconut sugar
1/8 tsp. cinnamon
3 tbsp. water
1/2 tsp. coconut oil
In a small saucepan, melt coconut oil over medium heat. Add sliced banana, coconut sugar, and cinnamon. Gently stir for about 30 seconds. Add water a little at a time until a small amount of syrup is formed (30 seconds or so). You may want to adjust coconut sugar and cinnamon to taste. Use as topping for pancakes or oatmeal.
