One-pan meals are lifesavers on busy nights!
1/2 lbs. ground turkey
sea salt & black pepper to taste
1/4 c. chicken broth
2 tsp. Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
red pepper flakes to taste
1/2 lbs. brussels sprouts
1 tbsp. avocado oil
Trim Brussels sprouts and cut into quarters.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add avocado oil and coat the bottom of the skillet. Add Brussels sprouts and cook, stirring occasionally, until sprouts are lightly browned (about 3 minutes).
Add ground turkey and cook, breaking it up as it browns. When the turkey is browned, season everything in the skillet with sea salt and pepper. Add chicken broth, and stir everything together. Cover the skillet, and let simmer until the liquid has reduced (about 5 minutes).
Season with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes. Serve warm.
