Basic Vegetable Beef Soup

This is a basic soup that my family always loves. It's simple and all the foods in it and suitable for protein type (green shaded foods) and it is proportioned to equal 3 proteins, 1 carb and if you garnish it with 1 oz of avocado and 1 oz of raw cheese, you'll have 2 fats.


    2 lbs. ground beef

    4 c. carrot

    4 c. celery

    2 c. baking potatoes

    4 c. beef broth


First brown your grass fed beef. Add in the vegetables that you've sliced. Pour in your beef broth. Bring contents to a boil. Turn heat to Low/med and allow to cook for 20 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Add sea salt and pepper to taste.

**Feel free to add some herbs and spices (both are free foods) that you enjoy to kick it up a notch! A little apple cider vinegar is a great addition as well.
