Basic Meatloaf

This meatloaf is quick to make and has minimal prep time and no chopping.


    1 c. breadcrumbs, made from sprouted whole-grain bread

    2 egg

    1 tbsp. garlic powder

    2 tbsp. dried onion flakes

    1 tbsp. dried parsley

    1 1/2 lbs. ground beef


Preheat oven to 400°F. Grease a standard size glass loaf pan. Mix all the ingredients in one bowl. I find it best to use my hands to mix everything together. Once mixed, place in the loaf pan. It always looks better to flatten the top and use your fingers to pull the beef away from the sides of the pan. This way it forms a loaf and it gives the grease a place to go. Bake for 45 minutes or until the internal temperature is at least 165°F.
