Top with almond butter or fresh berries for a regular morning... or maple syrup for a weekend treat!
1/2 c. almond flour
1/2 tbsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. sea salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 med. banana
1/4 c. applesauce
1 egg
3/4 c. almond milk
1/2 c. old-fashioned oats
Mash the banana with a fork or potato masher until smooth (or as close to smooth as you can get). Add applesauce and egg, and mix well using a whisk. Pour in almond milk and continue to stir. Add oats, almond flour, baking powder, sea salt, vanilla, and cinnamon. Stir it all up until it's well combined. Heat your waffle iron and cook according to the directions for that iron.
This recipe will make 3 waffles.
