So I came across this kind of accidentally. I was trying to get more protein in my breakfast as I have a hard time with preparing things in advance or in the morning. This is super fast! In my culture, ground almonds and milk is a very popular drink. So I tried to make that but the almonds kept settling at the bottom of my glass. I added banana to make it creamier. OMG, it's SOOO good, I had to share! :)
1/2 med. banana
1/2 c. milk, raw or organic
1 oz. almonds
Combine all ingredients in a blender, and blend until smooth.
I think if you want a little more in quantity, you can add 1/2 cup of coconut milk. You can also add ice if you like it to be colder and a little stevia if you want it sweeter.
