Baked apples with raisins, cinnamon, and toasted pecans.
1 med. Granny Smith apple
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. pecans
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. butter
I use a 6 cup oven safe dish, but any oven size dish that will hold these ingredients will work. Preheat oven to 350°F. Melt butter in dish. Core and slice apple, and arrange slices on top of melted butter in dish. Add raisins and pecans, and sprinkle with cinnamon. Cover with foil, and bake for 30 minutes. You can add a little drizzle of raw honey if you really have a sweet tooth, but the raisins make this very sweet without any additional sweetener..
