Flat burger-like turkey "loaf" topped with salad. I dress my salads with lemon juice and apple cider vinegar. I'm no chef, but I just experimented with different ingredients and was extremely pleasantly surprised when I had my finished meal...way better than anything in restaurants, plus it's entirely organic using DSP suggested ingredients!
1/4 lbs. ground turkey
1 bell pepper, any color
1 white mushrooms
1/4 c. onion
1 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
1 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
3 c. mixed vegetables
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. seasoning or spices of your liking
-Preheat oven to 350-400'F
-Chop onions, mushrooms, and sweet peppers and mix with ground turkey in a bowl (massaging with hands works most efficiently).
-Form into 1-2 flat burger-like patties and place in a shallow foiled pan spritzed with extra-virgin olive oil or non-stick spray, and sprinkled with rosemary garlic seasoning. Cook for 10-15 minutes.
-Mix vegetables for your salad and dress with lemon juice and apple cider vinegar, according to your taste.
-Slice tomatoes, sprinkle with rosemary garlic seasoning, and place tomatoes around turkey patty during last 5 minutes of baking.
-Remove pan from oven (and turn oven off!). Serve turkey on plate with tomatoes around it, with your salad on top and enjoy the various flavors. :)
