I'm glad you asked!

As a general rule, most seafood is inherently full of iodine. Cod, shrimp, and dark tuna are all great sources. If you are feeling particularly daring, try some seaweed! Seaweed actually has the highest iodine content out of most seafood.

For other organic egg lovers out there, we are in luck! Organic eggs are a wonderful source of iodine, as are milk and yogurt (raw and organic are best). There is also a small amount of iodine in cheese (again, raw is best).

Some fruits, veggies, and nuts also contain iodine, as long as they were grown in iodine-rich soil. Strawberries contain the most iodine, along with apples, dates, pineapples, and mangoes.

Artichokes and spinach are great veggie sources of iodine, and black walnuts are another. And, believe it or not, cinnamon and pepper both contain iodine! Last, but certainly not least, garlic is also a great way to consume iodine.
