This recipe is a template - any combination of nuts/seeds would work. Dates are a great fruit to use because they're sweet and help to bind the other ingredients.

  • 1 1/2 c. oats, whole, dry, organic
  • 1/2 c. pecans, raw, organic
  • 1/2 c. walnuts, raw, organic
  • 1 c. currants, dried, organic
  • 1/2 c. raisins, golden, organic
  • 1/3 c. chia seeds, organic
  • 1/2 c. cacao nibs, raw, organic
  • 1/2 c. coconut, unsweetened, shredded, organic
  • 1/3 c. pumpkin seeds or pepitas, organic
  • 1 tbs. cinnamon, ground, organic
  • 1 1/2 tbs. coconut oil, raw, extra-virgin, organic
  • 1 tbs. orange zest, fresh, organic
  • 1 pinch sea salt, unrefined and pure

Combine entire ingredients into food processor and mix very well until becomes a paste. It's helpful to first mix nuts and oats, then start adding other ingredients.

Line a square pan (8x8 or 9x9) with parchment paper.

Pack entire mixture into pan and press down evenly. Cover and refrigerate 6-8 hrs before cutting into 8 bars.
