This was just a really yummy dinner that I just made, so I figured I'd share.

  • 2 beef, filet mignon, grass-fed or pastured, organic
  • 1 pkg. mushrooms, white, organic
  • 1 onion, red, organic
  • 1 tbs. olive oil, extra virgin, unrefined and unfiltered, organic
  • 1 tbs. coconut oil, raw, extra-virgin, organic

Heat a grill pan on high heat - you will cook the steaks at high heat the entire time. Rub each filet with the EVOO and place the steaks on the hot grill pan. Cook on one side until the juices puddle on top (the steaks should be about halfway cooked), then turn each filet and cook until done to your liking.

While steaks are cooking, slice mushrooms and onions, heat another pan with coconut oil. When oil is shimmery, add the veggies and saute until onions are translucent. ***I highly recommend seasoning them with Hungarian Sweet Paprika! It's my family secret! ***
