Home made Pumpkin Spice Latte! a sweet afternoon treat but beware, its heavy, so one cup will do it!

  • 24 oz. coffee, organic
  • 1 c. coconut milk, unsweetened, full-fat, organic, canned
  • 1/3 c. pumpkin puree, 100% pure, canned, organic
  • 2 tsp. spice, pumpkin pie, organic
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon, ground, organic
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract, organic
  • 2 tbs. maple syrup, pure, organic

Directions: 1. Brew coffee, a bit stronger than if you were drinking it straight. 2. Make pumpkin milk by combining coconut milk, pumpkin puree, vanilla and spices into a small bowl. 3. Whisk all the ingredients in the bowl until they are well combined (or mix in a blender). 4. Warm the pumpkin milk over the stove on low-medium heat, until milk is warm through. 5. Pour a 1/2 cup of brewed coffee into a mug and pour pumpkin milk over top. Things to know: Use the rest of the pumpkin milk for refills (or drink it straight because it is delicious). Play around the ratio, we did half coffee, half pumpkin milk, but you could also do more coffee. If coconut milk is not your thing, try it with almond milk or if you allow diary try it with cream. For more spice, also add a pinch of nutmeg or anything else you would enjoy. The spices will not completely dissolve in the mixture, this is to be expected.
