Made this last night and it felt like I was eating an Asian burrito! Awesome. It's similar to a lettuce wrap but with a little twist in the spice area. Delish!
Whisk balsamic vinegar, ginger, red pepper flakes, minced garlic, garlic powder, and honey together in a bowl. Add the raw beef strips into the liquid mixture and put in refrigerator for at least 20 minutes to marinate.
Meanwhile, slice up the mushrooms, carrots, pineapples, and saute on med-high heat with coconut oil until mushrooms are just tender. Remove from pan and set mixture aside.
When marinated beef is ready, pour the meat and marinade into the saute pan. Make sure you hear a nice sizzling sound.
You're going to reduce the liquid a little but will have to pour some out after a couple minutes. When beef is cooked (about 7 minutes), pour the cooked veggie mixture in the pan with the beef. Season with salt as needed, then cook about a minute longer, add cilantro, and serve!
Scoop 1/4 of the mixture into a cabbage leaf. This recipe is a two person meal!! (2 cabbage wraps = 1 serving)
