An easy drop biscuit recipe! I usually shy away from biscuits --- but this is EASY.
Preheat oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the spelt flour, sea salt, and baking powder. Combine the warm water (use 1 cup minus a couple tablespoons) and butter; add all at once to the flour mixture. Beat 1- to 12 strokes. Drop in mounds onto parchment lined baking sheet. Bake 11-12 minutes until firm to the touch and lightly browned on the bottom.
Yield: about 12 biscuits.
