refreshing green iced tea.
Fill a 2 quart pitcher- minus 2 cups- with cold water. Add the tea bags to the pitcher - I tie them all together for easy removal. Set aside to steep. About 20 minutes.
Cut the ginger into small match sticks - no need to peel
In a small sauce pan - add the 2 cups of cold water, mint and ginger. Bring to boil, then set aside to steep a little while longer.
Once the pitcher of tea has steeped, remove the tea bags, add the mint-ginger water. I store this in the fridge and drink through out the day. Serve over ice. Very refreshing and no sweetener needed.
