  • 1 c. spinach, fresh, organic
  • 1 lemon, fresh, organic
  • 3 celery stalk, fresh, organic
  • 2 med. carrot, fresh, organic
  • 3 tbs. parsley, fresh, organic
  • 5 kale, any variety, fresh, organic
  • 0.25 cucumber, fresh, organic
  • 2 med. apple, red, fresh, organic
  • 1 dsh. cayenne pepper, powder, organic

For those of you who don't like eating your veggies, you can drink them down quickly this way. The carrots and apple lend some sweetness. For those of you who know you won't eat as many veggies as are in this juice, this is for you. For those of you trying to prevent getting sick, or even trying to fight off being sick, the lemon, ginger, and garlic will help you along. Trust me, you are getting an incredible dose of good nutrients in this juice. So, what you do is buy all the stuff, preferably organic if you can. Then, you wash it all. Then, you cut it up so that it will fit through a juicer's mouth. Then, you gather it all in one big bowl, and feed it through the juicer, except the cayenne. You can put that directly in your glass at the end if you like. You may have to filter it more than once if any pulp gets through. For those of you who don't have a juicer, but have a high powered blender like a vitamix, you can probably do this in that as well and get a lot of fiber. It may take doing it in batches this way though. If you don't have a juicer, but are thinking of getting one, I highly recommend the omega! Cheers to good health!
