Can vary the taste by adjusting the herbs you use. Always a hit at family gatherings over the holidays! Use more Greek Yogurt to make a dip rather than a spread. Choose alternate vegetables depending on your tastes!

  • 4 oz. cream cheese, cultured, raw, grass-fed or pastured, organic
  • 1/4 c. cottage cheese, full-fat, raw, grass-fed or pastured, organic
  • 1/2 c. yogurt, greek, plain, full-fat, plain, organic
  • 2 tbs. chives, fresh, organic
  • 2 tbs. dill weed, fresh, organic
  • 2 tbs. mint, fresh, organic
  • 1/2 tsp. sea salt, unrefined and pure
  • black pepper, ground, organic to taste
  • 0 sml. garlic, fresh, organic
  • 1 paprika, organic
  • 1 c. carrot, fresh, organic
  • 1 c. celery, fresh, organic
  • 1 c. bell pepper, red, fresh, organic

An easy appetizer --- I selected 'Sides' as I did not know the best TAG to use.

Directions: In a mixing bowl mash the cream cheese with a fork. Add the cottage cheese and yogurt and beat well with a spoon until the mixture is well blended and somewhat fluffy. Beat in the chives, dill, mint, salt, pepper, and garlic. Taste and adjust seasoning at this point. Cover and chill.

At serving time, place the cheese and herb mixture in the center of a platter or in a bowl - sprinkle with paprika for garnish, if desired. Arrange vegies in a decorative pattern around it. Can use parsley sprigs for extra garnish around your vegies.

Also good served with SWG toast points that have been lightly broiled and rubbed with olive oil.
