I Double-Dog Dare You to Overeat – Healthily!
You might be wondering if I have lost my healthy food-loving mind, but I am totally serious here. My buddy Mike Geary, author of the best-selling book "The Truth About Six Pack Abs,” actually tried this dare to see if he would gain an enormous amount of weight and we both were amazed by the results. Mike’s dare began as he gorged himself for six weeks on Isabel-approved foods. Lean, grain-fed meats, organic eggs, raw dairy, water, and organic fruits and vegetables were all fair game – as much as he wanted, as often as he wanted, whenever he wanted. There was no stopping this eating machine! And guess what? He didn’t gain even one pound. That’s right, not a single pound found its way on to his body. Seems too good to be true, but this goes to prove my point that you can eat tons of foods and never feel hungry, as long as they are the right foods for your body to use as fuel and not store as fat.
Mike was amazed with the results because while he practices the principles of Beyond Diet every day, there are times when he would vacation or hang out with friends and splurge on the usual over processed, pre-packaged foods and suffer the consequences. He would feel bloated, sluggish, and would naturally put on a few extra pounds. This is a large part of the reason why he was amazed that gorging himself on healthy foods had no effect on his weight.
