Orange Icon  Frozen Hot Chocolate

Cook Time: 1 hour in the freezer

Servings: 2

Great idea if you're craving something sweet but don't want to ruin your eating habits.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 2 Tbsp cocoa powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 tsp stevia
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1 scoop protein powder

Whipped Cream

  • 1 - 14 oz can unsweetened coconut milk
  • 1 Tbsp stevia blend
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Dash of cinnamon
  • Pinch of grated chocolate (optional)

Directions
Whisk 1 cup almond milk, cocoa powder, salt, and stevia in a saucepan. Heat through, stirring frequently. Let cool and pour into an ice cube tray. Freeze until frozen solid. Pop half of the frozen cubes (about 8) into a blender, and add 1/2 cup almond milk (or more if your blender needs it) and protein powder. Blend until smooth.
Whipped Cream - Place can of coconut milk upside down in the refrigerator, preferably overnight. Scoop out just the solid cream portion into a medium bowl - do not use any of the liquid (save it for a smoothie). Whisk in the stevia blend, vanilla extract and cinnamon until smooth. Top frozen hot chocolate with 1 spoonful of cream and grated chocolate (optional).

This is just a really good way to have a burger.

Ingredients

  • 3-4 oz ground buffalo
  • Sea salt to taste
  • 1 Tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 slice SWG bread
  • 1 slice manchego cheese
  • 1 small handful baby arugula
  • 1 slice white onion
  • 1 slice tomato

Directions

Form a patty with the ground buffalo and salt both sides generously while melting coconut oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place buffalo patty in skillet and flip after 3-5 minutes. Add manchego cheese while you toast your bread. Layer your sandwich after meat is fully cooked through – bread, arugula, tomato, burger, cheese, onion.

Makes 6 large pancakes - serving size is 2 pancakes.

Ingredients

  • 1 (15 oz) can organic pumpkin (or fresh and pureed)
  • 6-8 eggs
  • 3 tbsp coconut flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 pinch or to taste cinnamon
  • 1 pinch or to taste orange zest
  • 1 pinch or to taste freshly grated ginger
  • 1 pinch or to taste cardamon
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla

Directions

Mix all ingredients to form the pancake batter. Cook over medium heat using coconut oil or butter.

This goes fast...... Have all your ingredients measured out and ready to go! Ready, Set, AMAZING!

Ingredients

  • ½ Tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 lb. shrimp (16-20 count) – peeled, deveined and patted dry
  • Pinch of sea salt to taste
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced finely
  • 3 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/3 cup chopped parsley, divided
  • 2 Tbsp cold butter, cut in 4 pieces
  • Water as needed
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes
  • 6 large Romaine lettuce leaves torn (optional)
  • Sprinkle of parmesan cheese (optional)

Directions

Have your ingredients measured and ready, there’s no time to do this between steps. Heat coconut oil in a skillet on high. Once the oil starts smoking, add the shrimp and salt while stirring continuously. When the shrimp have started changing color, add the garlic and continue to stir. Add lemon juice, half of the parsley and butter and turn heat down to simmer. As the sauce thickens, pull the shrimp out and serve over a bed of Romaine lettuce, or by itself. Add water as needed to thin the sauce and pour over the shrimp. Top it with the remaining parsley, red pepper flakes and parmesan cheese.
